C.Lal is now a very well known name in the field of library and information science as the author of several popular books on the subject. He did hes M. Lib. I. Sc. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He taught library science for several years. He has just retired after serving 36 years from Research Library of Mathematics Department of Agra College, Agra. This Departmnt and its library is renowned for its researches, not only in Agra University, but throughout the contry.

K. Kumar is also now a popular name due to hos contributions as co-author of many successful books on various topics of library of many successful books on various topics of library and information science. He did his M. Com., M. Lib. I. Sc. and Ph.D. (Library and information Science) from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (Formerly Agra University), Agra. He has been a meritorious student throughout his academic career and for first positions in his B. Lib. I. Sc. and M. Lib. I. Sc. examinations in the university.
