R. Raman Nair, a post graduate in Library and Information Science from
Banaras Hindu University is a senior college librarian. His published books
include two literary works and an edited volume on library science. He has
published numerous library science papers, literary articles and translations;
and has participated in many national seminars and conferences. He is a founder
member of the Centre for South Indian Studies. His field of interest includes,
history of library movement, library legislation and information dissemination
systems that support education and research.
K. Rajasekharan (M. A., LL.B., M. Lib. Sc.) is a library and
information scientist belonging to Kerala Agricultural University. He has
written extensively on library Science and has written extensively on library
science and has been increasingly active in the development of librarianship. He
held the position of General Secretary of Academy of Library and
Information Service for a few years and is now the President of Kerala Academic
Librarian's Association.
