Today, the libary professionals are facing major challenges due to fast growing information and communication technologies. Surendra Singh is working as Senior Librarian and Head of the Department of
Library and Information Science at Sandipani Post Graduate College, Ujjain. He
obtained his Ph. D. in Library and Information Science from Vikram University.
He has published more than thirty papers in various reputed journals and book.
He is a life member of ILA He has edited a book entitled 'Trends in Library and
Information Science' published by Gyan Publishing House, New Delhi.


Sonal Singh is M. Sc. (Zoology), M. Lib. Sc., B. Ed., B. Mus., Ph.D. (Library
Science), P. G. D. C. A. and is working as Senior Lecturer in School of Studies
in Library & Information Science, Vikram University, Ujjain. She has also worked
as Librarian at Kendriya  Vidyalaya, Ujjain for seven years. She has a
teaching experience of over twelve years. She is a life member of ILA. IATLIS
and IASLIC and has attended a number of conferences. She has contributed more
than forty articles to library science journals of repute. She has authored
three books and edited one books.
