It is a pleasure and a privilege to republish this bouquet of papers on the auspicious occasion of the world wide Ranganathanâ??s centenary celebrations of joining the library profession in 1924.This is select compilation of twenty four  tributes to the Great Master on this auspicious occasion. Ranganathan, the last of our polymaths, was an archetypal multifaceted person who, like a colossus, strutted over a vast  but incipient field. These papers  touch only a few aspects of his eventful life and huge body of work. Though these  present a fresh approach to these dimensions but these papers fall short of  fully comprehending his greatness.  Nevertheless, it is hoped that these papers will once again inform  and inspire new generation of library and information professionals about Ranganathanâ??s life, attitudes and dedication, and attest his continuing relevance. There are many Ranganathan acolytes and admirers in the world, and his influence in the library and Information studies is all pervasive, visibly and subtly. For the ever widening circle of Ranganathanâ??s admirers, to use the words of English playwright John Heywood (1497?-1580?), â??Here lyeth much richnesse in the lyttell space".
