This comprehensive compilation of
MCQs in Library and Information Science attempts to be a panacea for the

Nahav Alam Ansari (Ph.D.) is currently
working as Librarian in BKSN Govt. PG College, Shajapur (MP). He has also
worked as SPA (Semi Professional Assistant) in Central Library of Jamia
Hamdard, New Delhi prior to his current position. Dr. Nahav has published
many research papers in national and international journals. He has also
presented and published research papers in national and international
conferences. Besides this, he has also been selected for KVS Librarian. Dr.
Nahav possesses vast experience in maintaining libraries.
M. Masoom Raza (Ph.D.) is working
as Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh
Muslim University, Aligarh. He did his M.Sc (Hons), ML&I.Sc and Ph.D from
Panjab University, Chandigarh. The topic of his Ph.D. was "Use of
Periodicals by Researchers in the Agricultural Universities of North India : A
Survey and Bibliometric Analysis". He has guided almost 100 Masters’
dissertations and eight Ph.D. dissertations. He has successfully completed
three major research projects. He has attended various national and
International conferences and has about 75 publications in different
professional journals/books of LIS. He even worked as Professor and Head for
about three years in the Department of Library and Information Science, North
Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He has been a member of various
committees/boards of North Eastern India. He has also been Vice-President of
ILA for Eastern Region from 2013 to 2016. He has been chairperson of the ILA
sectional committee for Health Science Libraries from 2016 to 2019.
