The third chapter of  this book sheds light on methodology, its components, types and the methods by which information literacy should be improved. The subsequent chapter could be called an extension of the third chapter, as it explains ‘how to design information literacy programmes. An unavoidable topic while studying information literacy is how to motivate the users spoken of in detail in this chapter. The final chapter of the book deals with ‘trends in information literacy. It highlights web-based information literacy and Practical steps for a web-based Information Literacy campaign using a module. Brief knowledge in this stream would help us to know about information literacy and lifelong learning.

J. Jerome Wesly is presently a full time research scholar in the Department ofLibrary and Information Science, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University,Tirunelveli. He posseses B.Com.,M.Lib.I.Sc & PGDLAN.,He is a member of various professional associations.He has contributed 10 papers in seminars, conferences and in international and domestic refereed journals.

 
Dr. P. Balasubramanian is presently working as University Librarian and Head, in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu). His qualifications M.C.A., M.B.A., M.A., (Eng.),M.A.(His)., M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil., PGDPR and Ph.D., He is a life member of various professional associations. He has contributed 73 books (Tamil and English) around 156 papers in seminars, conferences and refereed journals. He has organized many national and international seminars and workshops in various emerging topics of Library and Information Science. He has produced 9 M.Phil., and 36 Ph.D., scholars, presently guiding 8 Ph.D., scholars. He has been teaching Library and Information Science for the past 21 years. He has attended conferences held in Malaysia and Sri-Lanka and presented papers there.
