In the field of Library and Information Science (LIS) Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India occupies a unique place. His seminal contributions in the form of books, rep-orts, articles enriched the literature of LIS. In his long and fruitful journey Dr. Ranganathan authored sixty two books and contributed 1500 articles on various facets of LIS. In order to bring to the notice of present generation of LIS professionals, the works of Dr. Ranganathan, an attempt has been made to briefly introduce the contents of each book available in libraries. All the books of Dr. Ranganathan are not available in any of the College and University Libraries in India. With the help and cooperation of fellow professionals and with great difficulty information about fifty four (54) books was collected and briefly presented in this publication. In some of the cases the information is based only on Contents Page / Preface / Introduction / Conspectus. We believe that no such an attempt has been made earlier by any of the LIS Professionals to introduce Dr. Ranganathan’s works to the present generation of LIS Professionals. This is the first attempt in this regard and hopes that LIS Professionals shall welcome this useful Publication. A. A. N. Raju is formerly Head, Department of Library and Information Science and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He served the University nearly three-and-half decades and as Head, Department of Library and Information Science for twenty two years a record in itself. He published seventy five research papers in English and nearly hundred articles in Telugu i LIS Professional Journals. He Is a regular contributor to Grandhalaya Sarvashwam, first Indian Professional Journal in LIS. He was Member of UGC Panel of LIS for two consecutive terms (1991-93 and 1994-96). Recipient of IATGLIS Motivale Best Teacher Award, 1995, UGC Emeritus Fellowship (1999-2001), Prof. P. Gangadhara Rao Memorial Award 2006 from P. S. Telugu University, Hyderabad and Kodati Narayana Rao Centenary Award 2013 from Kodati Narayana Rao Trust, Hyderabad. The Osmania University, Hyderabad honoured Prof. A.A.N. Raju during the Centenary Celebrations on 15th March 2018 by presenting a Shawl, Memento and Centenary Citation. Prof. Raju authored twenty-one (21) books in English and ten books in Telugu on various Facets of Library and Information Science.
