Understanding Post 9/11 Cross-Border Terrorism In South Asia, U.S. And Other
Nation’s Perceptions seeks to understand the causes of cross-border terrorism
in South Asia in the post 9/11 period. It analyses how each South Asian Country
has responded to terrorism in general and cross-border terrorism specifically.
Role of each country has been analysed. This book studies the causes of
terrorism and cross–border terrorism, organisations involved, countries
involved, particularly on cross-border terrorism in South Asia. This book has
analysed the role of United States and other big powers in countering terrorism
in South Asia.
It has two
sections. First section deals on cross-border terrorism in South Asia. The
second one deals with each South Asian country’s role in cross-border
terrorism.
Amulya K
Tripathy, Ph.D.
has been teaching International Affairs and Political Science and doing
research for the last twenty nine years. He is a prolific writer. He has
published lots of research articles in different national and international
journals. He is author of the books entitled U.S. Foreign Policy, Transnational
Terrorism, US Policy Towards India A Post Cold War Study, Nuclear
Proliferations in South Asia and United States and Post 9/11 United States
–India Relations, Towards An Active Engagement. He has presented papers in
several national and international seminars. He has guided several Ph.D theses.
He specializes in international affairs, particularly American foreign policy
and relations. He has taught in different colleges of Odisha. He is presently
teaching in Science College(Autonomous) Hinjilicut, Odisha, India.
Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. [JNU] is Professor-
Department of Politcs & Public-Administration, Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Maharashtra. She has published three books, and several chapters in
edited books. She has many articles are published in India and abroad to her
credit. Her field of specialization and areas of interest include international
relations, Asian studies, foreign policy and security studies.
Roshni Kujur, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. is a faculty in the P.G. Department of
Political Science, Berhampur University, Odisha . A sincere researcher, she has
published several articles in various national journals. She has also
contributed chapters to the different edited books. Currently she is
supervising M.Phil and Ph.D scholars. Her areas of specialisation are tribal
politics and international relations. She has presented several papers in many
national and international seminars.
